SITECH at CONEXPO 2026: Inside the Trimble Exhibit

Every three years, the construction industry converges on Las Vegas for CONEXPO-CON/AGG — the largest construction trade show in North America. This year, a small SITECH team made the trip, joining the CCF Queensland group to take it all in firsthand.

Hard to Miss — Even Before You Walk In

Trimble's presence at CONEXPO 2026 started well before anyone set foot on the show floor. The Trimble brand was live on the Sphere — the world's largest and most advanced display — and if you were in Las Vegas for the show, it was impossible to miss. Trimble's own leadership described it not just as a marketing moment, but as a symbol of the scale at which the company is transforming construction. It set the tone perfectly for what was waiting inside.

Trimble's presence at CONEXPO 2026 was impossible to miss. Set up in the West Hall at booth W40420, Trimble brought over 200 company experts and showcased technology deployed across 24 OEM partnerships — putting 50 solutions on display across excavators, dozers, graders, compact equipment, specialty equipment, simulators, and off-machine solutions.

The central message was connectivity. Rather than showcasing standalone tools, Trimble organised its exhibit around connected workflows that link estimating, fabrication, field operations, and financial systems into a single continuous construction process. The pitch to contractors was straightforward: jobs run better when the office, field, and equipment all share the same information.

Solutions Across the Whole Job

The breadth of what Trimble demonstrated was impressive. Demonstrations covered pre-construction planning, fabrication management, machine guidance, project data sharing, and financial management — essentially the full lifecycle of a construction project. Highlights included Trimble Earthworks and Siteworks for machine control and precision guidance, SiteVision augmented reality for overlaying 3D models onto live job sites, and AI-enabled capabilities woven throughout the portfolio. Trimble also hosted educational sessions covering mixed-fleet integration, ISO data-sharing standards, and real-world case studies from major earthworks projects across North America.

From the Floor: SITECH Team Perspectives

This was my first visit to CONEXPO. What an incredible experience — filled with energy, innovation, and a real sense of where the construction industry is heading. I was especially impressed by Trimble's emerging technology and how digital integration and automation are transforming job sites. It was exciting to see how these tools are making work more efficient, precise, and connected. The experience left me inspired about the future of construction.

It was my first ConExpo as well. I was blown away with the size of it as well as the amount of people in attendance. I saw the Trimble stand that Shane was referring to and they were in prime position — their stand was always heaving with people. I spent most of my time supporting the Teledyne team as both a distribution partner from APAC, ESDH as well as an exhibitor for Teledyne. It was a pleasant surprise to see so many Australians in attendance at the show. Everyone there was keen to learn about the latest technology and equipment in the industry. ConExpo is a great event and I will definitely be going again the next time it comes around!

Bringing It Home

For the SITECH team, CONEXPO is more than a trade show — it's a window into where construction technology is heading. From the Trimble logo lighting up the Las Vegas skyline to a show floor packed with practical, connected solutions, the message was consistent: digital transformation in construction isn't coming — it's here. And we're proud to help bring it to job sites right here in Australia.
